Not to be mistaken for fractionated coconut oil which is being sold by some suppliers under the name of Caprylic Capric Triglycerides, and vise versa, due to market confusion even among manufacturers. Make no mistake, there is a difference between the two. Caprylic Capric Triglycerides is a fraction of coconut oil but not the same fraction as that of Fractionated Coconut Oil which is distilled and results in all of the available fatty acids present in coconut oil, where Caprylic Capric Triglycerides is an esterification for the specific fraction of Caprylic and Capric fatty acids, the shorter chain fatty acids.
